This two-day course provides the attendee with an overview of the safety applications on a construction site and increases awareness and understanding of governmental regulations and applications to the trade practices. All certificates received are issued directly from the OSHA Training Institute Outreach Program to meet every application to the OSHA requirements currently in place.

First Aid/CPR:

First Aid: Learn how to respond to common first aid emergencies, including burns, cuts, head, neck, back injuries & more.

CPR/AED: Learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED).

Fall Prevention:
This instructional course is designed for those who are new or experienced in Fall Protection and are looking to begin or enhance their knowledge of recognizing and mitigating fall hazards.
All attendees will participate in classroom, hands-on instruction, and student-performed exercises that will cover:
·        Fall Hazard identification (ABC’s).
·        OSHA rules of when Fall Protection is required.
·        Selection, inspection, and donning of body harnesses, lanyards, and SRLs.

·        Fall related statistics and forces that affect the worker.

All participants will receive a Fall Protection Awareness wallet card upon successful completion of the course.

Mobile Elevating Work Platform (Aerial Lift) Certification:
This training covers classroom presentations, written assessments, hands-on practice, and skills evaluation for safe operation of aerial boom lifts and scissor lifts. Participants receive guidance from experienced instructors during hands-on sessions, aligning with industry benchmarks. The program provides comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in basic operations, compliance, types and characteristics, component identification, safety systems, pre-use inspections, operating procedures, and hazard recognition. Upon completion, you’ll receive an operator’s certificate and a digital wallet card.

ARC Flash:
Low Voltage (LV) Qualified Course
8 Hour Qualified Course
This course goes beyond the theoretical to give attendees a complete understanding of regulations regarding electrical and arc flash safety and how to apply them in real-world situations. Our arc flash training is the most complete in the industry without spending hours reading through OSHA and NFPA 70E regulations. We digest the information critical to the electrical worker and safety professional and put it in a concept based, adult-learner friendly format that makes it easy to understand, remember and apply.

High Voltage (HV) Qualified Course
8 Hour Qualified Course / Prerequisite: Low Voltage (LV) Qualified 8 Hour Course

This course provides electrical safety instruction for those who work on or around 1 to 69kV industrial high voltage systems. Working on or around these types of systems require the electrical worker to be qualified for the task and trained on the hazards. In this training, attendees learn what it means to be HV Qualified, the potential hazards, and what electrical tasks may only be performed by a qualified person.

PIT - Rough Terrain Forklift Operator Certification

This training program covers classroom presentations, written tests, hands-on practice, and skills testing for operating a Rough Terrain Forklift safely. Participants refine their skills in a secure setting, guided by expert instructors, with evaluation aligning with industry standards. The training is not specific to a make or model but focuses on fundamental concepts for most counterbalance forklifts. Key topics include basics of rough terrain forklifts, rules and regulations, types, main parts, and their functions, safety systems, pre-use inspection, Safe operating procedures, and limitations.

Suicide Prevention in the Construction Workforce

Scaffold Competent Person Training

Learning Objectives:

Excavation Competent Person Training

OSHA requires that any company involved in excavation, trenching, shoring, sheeting, or
underground construction activities have a “Competent Person” supervising the job. This competent
person is responsible for overseeing underground activities, excavation safety, and site safety around
the excavation.

Class Objective: To provide descriptive guidelines and accurate applications, with current equipment
availability and regulatory influences, for leadership in the construction industry to apply towards
activities and practices in their working environment. Scope: Utilizing the 29CFR1926, OSHA
Standards for the Construction Industry, guidelines and current regulatory requirements will be
reviewed and placed into current practices and techniques. The student will be able to identify,
evaluate and correctly apply equipment and regulatory applications to meet the needs of the
environment.

Confined Space Competent Person Training

Objective: To provide descriptive guidelines and accurate applications, with current equipment

Lock Out - Tag Out (LOTO) Training Certification

The Lockout/Tagout course comprehensively covers various topics to ensure a thorough understanding of the subject. Participants will learn about the purpose of lockout/tagout, different forms of hazardous energy, coverage of individuals and activities under the lockout/tagout standard, the three elements of an energy control program, types of lockout/tagout devices, who is required to lock out or tag out, steps for attaching and removing locks and tags, periodic inspections in compliance with the standard, and the training requirements for lockout/tagout.
