ABC Heart of America offers all of its members an opportunity to serve on a number of committees. By providing valuable input to our Board of Directors, committees help establish ABC Heart of America’s policies, priorities and objectives.

List of Committees
The Workforce Warriors are a group of like-minded volunteers who are interested in getting out in the community and educating students, counselors, and parents on the opportunities available within the construction industry through career fairs and other engagements that ABC Heart of America participates in.
Identify opportunities to strengthen the training, prioritize initiatives for ongoing program improvement, and handle all disciplinary matters with regards to apprentices as outlined in the Apprenticeship Standards.
Kansas City Council
Responsible for member retention in the Kansas City Council by serving as ambassadors to new members, providing world-class networking events, and delivering management education programs that meet the specific needs of the Kansas City members.
Eastern Missouri Council
Responsible for member retention in the Eastern Missouri Council by serving as ambassadors to new members, providing world-class networking events, and delivering management education programs that meet the specific needs of the Eastern Missouri members.
Serve as a safety resource for ABC members and help promote the health, safety, and welfare of all members of the construction industry by developing training programs and seminars that meet members’ needs, serving as subject matter experts for staff and members, and developing and maintaining relationships with OSHA-related industry groups.
Government Affairs Committee
Focus on all aspects of ABC’s advocacy strategy as it works to promote and defend the needs of the merit shop construction industry at the local, state, and federal levels.
Strategize and implement best practices to market and promote ABC and its benefits of membership.
Diversity & Inclusion Committee
Identify and promote best practices in promoting diversity & inclusion practices in ABC member workplaces.
