Orientation to the trade, basic safety, hand and power tools, light equipment, reading plans and elevations, wood building materials, fasteners and adhesives, floor systems, wall and ceiling framing, roof framing, windows and exterior doors.
Level II
Measurements and leveling, intro to concrete and reinforcing materials, foundations and flatwork, concrete forms, reinforcing concrete, handling and placing concrete, patented forms, and tilt - up wall systems.
Level III
Stairs, roofing applications, exterior finish, thermal and moisture protection, drywall installation and finishing, interior finish: doors, interior finish: suspended ceilings, interior finish: window, door, floor, and ceiling trim, and cabinet installation.
Level IV
Angular measurements, advanced roof systems, advanced floor systems, advanced wall systems, advance stair systems, welding, metal building, framing with metal studs and intro to project management and supervision.
