ABC Heart of America 2009 Craft Championship

Associated Builders and Contractors Inc., Heart of America Chapter will hold its annual Craft Championship on November 19, 2009 at the MCC – Business and Technology College Exhibit Hall Located at 1775 Universal Ave, Kansas City MO 64120.

Competitors who will be competing in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, and sheet metal displayed the highest scores in their written examination.  On the day of competition these apprentices will display their knowledge and skills through a six hour practical, hands on project.  The craft championship promotes craft training, skilled craftsmanship, and create a positive image for the construction industry.

Finalist of the local competition receives paid accommodations, transportation, and expenses to the national competition. Medals, tools, and cash prizes are awarded to finalists in the ABC National Craft Championships.
